Untraced Privacy Policy

Untraced · Last updated September 6, 2026

Effective date: September 6, 2026

This policy explains what Foredawn (“we”, “us”) collects when you play Untraced, why, who we share it with, and what you can do about it. Untraced is a detective game about a fictional recovered phone. Everything you browse inside the game is made up. This policy is about the real data the app handles on your real device.

Short version. Untraced has no accounts. The app makes a random Support ID on first launch. We collect gameplay events, crash reports, and purchase status to run and improve the game, and, in the free version, we work with advertising partners that use your device’s advertising identifier to show and measure ads. You can turn tracking off in your device settings, change ad consent in the app, and ask us to delete your data by email.

Advertising

Ads in the free version are delivered through AppLovin MAX, an ad mediation platform. We work with AppLovin and the networks it mediates to deliver ads. Third parties, including AppLovin, may collect, process, and share personal data such as your advertising identifier, IP address, and device information for advertising purposes, including personalised advertising where you have consented. Networks currently included:

App stores and payment. Apple and Google process your purchases under their own policies.

Legal. We may disclose data when the law requires it, to protect our rights or users’ safety, or as part of a merger or sale of the business, in which case this policy continues to apply.

5. International transfers

We are based in Vietnam. Our providers store data mainly in the United States and the European Union. When your data leaves your country, we rely on safeguards recognised by law, such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision. Email us if you want a copy of the safeguards that apply.

6. How long we keep it

Your game progress is stored only on your device. Deleting the app deletes it.

7. Your choices

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

To exercise any of them, email support@foredawnhq.com. We answer within the time the law allows and may ask for your Support ID to find your data. Because we hold no name or email for you, this ID is usually the only way to match a request to a record.

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you can also complain to your local data protection authority. A list of EU authorities is at edpb.europa.eu; the UK authority is the Information Commissioner’s Office.

California residents. We do not sell personal data for money. Sharing your advertising identifier with advertising networks for personalised ads may count as “sharing” under California law. You can opt out by declining tracking on iOS, turning off ad personalisation on Android, or emailing us. You also have the rights to know, delete, and correct described above, and we will not treat you differently for using them.

9. Children

Untraced is a crime story for adults and older teens. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child under 13 has used the app, email us and we will delete the data.

10. Security

Data travels encrypted between the app and our providers. Your Support ID is kept in your device’s secure storage. No system is perfectly secure, so tell us if you think something is wrong.

11. Changes

When we change this policy we update the date at the top. For significant changes we will also tell you inside the app. Continuing to use Untraced after a change means you accept the updated policy.
